Summer is here and we are already sweltering from the heat here in Georgia! I do have a good handle on my goals for my lovely family for the month of June.
1. Travel more. It’s summer, we want out of the house! I have planned our calendar and we’re out of the house everyday even if it’s a trip to the library or a trip to a museum. It’s a common misconceoption that with so many kids it takes us forever to get out of the house and do anything. I’m proving that wrong by prepping, packing, and traveling this month.
2. Eat around the table more. With us being on the go it’s so easy to pull up to the drive through but I want our special moments and memories to be of us felloshipping as a family, around a meal, at the table. My slow cooker is my new BFF and we’re going to make it happen!
3. Schedule more time for mommy self-care. I need more time for me so that I can keep up with my family. I’m intentional about it and it’s already on my planner and my gym time is on there too!
4. Focus on Education. I make learning fun but we’ve got to focus on subjects the kiddos didn’t do so well in last school year and focus on prepping for the upcoming school year.
